On April 2022, the sale of E15 gasoline, which uses more ethanol, was approved in order to increase fuel supply and lower prices.
E15 is currently available in 21 states, at just over 2,500 stations. E10 remains the limit for passenger vehicles older than 2001 model year and other non-road and small gasoline-using engines and vehicles, such as lawnmowers, motorcycles and boats.
In order to meet customers’ needs Zeltex has developed new calibration curves for ZX-101SQ, our top-value fuel portable analyzer, which is now able to analyze the percentage of ethanol in gasoline up to 15% to know the exact percentage of the mixture between ethanol and gasoline.
